PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: August 26, 2026

This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains how APU Software, LLC (“APU”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with our websites, software, purchases, support, communications, and optional online features.

Information We Handle

Depending on how you interact with APU, we may handle:

  • Contact and transaction information, including your name, email address, purchases, product and license records, and communication preferences.
  • Content you choose to submit, including support messages, feedback, testimonials, newsletter sign-ups, and content for optional online features.
  • Technical request information, including an IP address, request time and path, browser or device information, referring page, and cookies or similar identifiers.
  • Transaction details received from payment providers, which handle payment-account information directly.

Websites and Analytics

APU and the providers that deliver and protect our websites and online services use technical request information to provide those services, maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems. This information may appear in ordinary operational and security logs.

Our websites use analytics, advertising, and support tools from Google, Meta, Quora, and Zoho. These providers may receive page, referral, browser, device, interaction, conversion, and cookie information under their own policies. See the privacy information from Google, Meta, Quora, and Zoho.

Our websites also use cookies or browser storage for functions such as shopping carts and preferences. You can manage this storage through your browser and choices the site makes available.

APU also keeps aggregate statistics about software downloads and optional online features to understand adoption and improve our services. These statistics do not identify unique users, link one action to another, or include submitted Mix content. Ordinary operational and security logs remain separate and may contain the technical request information described above.

APU Software and Network Access

Outside actions you deliberately invoke, installed APU software does not automatically send usage analytics, installation or device identifiers, audio, local file paths, or crash reports to APU. License validation is local and does not require online activation.

An online action sends the information needed to perform it. Harmonic DJ Mix publishing sends the content shown to you for review, never audio or local Library paths. Published content is public and may be indexed by search engines until unpublished. An email address provided solely for Mix confirmation or administration is not added to a marketing list unless you separately subscribe. These practices are the same in standalone and plug-in versions.

Use and Disclosure

We use information to provide and secure our products and services; process purchases, refunds, redemptions, and licenses; communicate with you; provide support; operate online features; understand adoption; improve our services; prevent fraud and abuse; and meet legal obligations. Marketing messages follow your subscription and purchase preferences and include an unsubscribe link. Transactional messages remain separate.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, our basis for processing is performance of an agreement, your consent, compliance with law, or our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our services.

We use providers for payments, hosting, content delivery, security, storage, support, email, newsletters, analytics, advertising, and testimonials. We make information available to them as needed for those functions. If you choose to load third-party media or follow a third-party link, your browser connects directly to the identified provider under its privacy practices.

We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect APU, our users, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of the business.

APU is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other places where our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws from your location.

Retention and Your Rights

We retain personal information only as reasonably needed for the purposes above, considering its nature, sensitivity, and applicable legal and provider requirements. Published Mix content remains public until unpublished; limited nonpublic records may remain when needed for ownership, security, abuse prevention, administration, or legal obligations.

You can unsubscribe from marketing, manage browser storage, decline optional features, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent, receive a portable copy, or complain to a data-protection authority. We respond as required by applicable law and may retain information required for transactions, security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

APU products and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will identify changes by revising the date above and, when appropriate, provide a more prominent notice.
