REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy describes how APU Software, LLC (“APU”, “we”, “us”, “our”) handles refund requests for our audio plug-ins and related software (the “Products”).

Free Trials and Evaluation

All paid Products offer a trial period so you can evaluate functionality, sound quality, and compatibility with your system and workflow before purchasing. Because a trial is available, purchases are generally considered final.

Refunds at Our Discretion

Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion. Generally, we never decline a good-faith refund request; however, we reserve the right to deny a refund in the future, including in cases of misuse or abuse of this policy.

Common Situations Where We Generally Approve Refunds

  • accidental duplicate purchase.
  • verified technical incompatibility that we cannot reasonably resolve after you contact support.
  • purchase made in error where the license was not used beyond the trial.
  • a prompt, good-faith request shortly after purchase.

Examples of Misuse or Abuse

  • repeated refund requests across multiple products or versions.
  • prolonged commercial use followed by a refund request.
  • attempts to resell, transfer, or continue using a refunded license.
  • chargebacks or payment disputes after receiving a refund.

How to Request a Refund

Email support@apu.software with your order email, transaction ID, product name/version, OS/DAW, and a brief description of the issue. We will review requests as quickly as possible and may ask for additional information needed to reproduce or resolve a problem. If a refund is approved, the license/serial will be deactivated and you must cease use and remove the Product from your systems.

Payment Processing and Fees

Payments are processed by PayPal. Any processing fees, exchange rate differences, or bank charges are handled by the payment provider and are outside our control. Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original payment method.

Third-Party Purchases

If you purchased through a third-party store or reseller, their refund terms may apply; we can help guide you but cannot override a third party’s policies.
